Lately I’ve heard or read the name “Karen” used as a derogatory label. I have a problem with that. I know a Karen. In fact, I know two women named Karen.
These women are the real deal. "Karen" is on their birth certificates. They have been Karens at least since birth, maybe from before birth if their parents had a name chosen for them.
Both women are compassionate, generous, gentle, and kind. They are others-focused and are edifiers. Both take care of themselves, their loved ones, friends, patients (one), parishioners (the other), strangers, the down-and-out. Both are beautiful, inside and out. They are creative, positive, endearing, encouragers, and motivators. Their enthusiasm, smile, and upbeat personality light up a room. They tolerate the intolerable with grace. They freely give of themselves.
They are women of faith, focus, vision, and courage, organizers of things bigger than most can imagine. Both are overcomers. They know how to pray. They know how to get things done.
Oh, that our poor world had more Karens like these!
Aww.....Jean I'm blushing and humbled by your words. Lol....🤣 or am I being presumptuousnes, to think I'm one of the Karen's you write about? I certainly wouldn't describe myself like that, but your always the encourager and flattererer and I so love you for that💕
The world needs more Jeans like you!!
